I think that this topic is very interesting because you can find this kind of problems all around the world, also Apple in this moment is one of the most popular company for us, I think all of us at least has one Apple product since the most little iPod to the biggest and expensive computer. This problem of the copies of the different products is very complicate because all of us can fall into the trap of buying any copied product. On the other hand this is a big problem for the company because many people have no resources to buy some products so they prefer buy a copy, which looks very similar, and with this the company lose a lot of money, that’s why the authorities have to intervene, just like happen in China, because otherwise for the big companies that pay taxes, good salaries, and all the other things that the law requires would be impossible to compete against smuggling. That’s why the law and not just the law for the different countries, the international law is very demanding with this kind of problems because could affect a lot of different brand of the economy, not just to the company, but the company itself.
I think all the countries or almost the most of them has this kind of problems, of all kind of products, you can find copies of toys, cell phones, clothes, and almost all the things that you can imagine and products as such as apple which are really appreciated by the public are most frequently copied because their popularity.
Finally I’m agree with this kind of actions against the falsification or copy of the different products because as I said before this affects in different ways the economy and at the end this will affect us.
